| Jagdish Belwal 20-May-12 11:42PM | 20th May 2012 - Snow Flama Portal goes live. I hope this eases our communication and management challenges. As managing committee members, we realised the immense task at hand if full justice has to be done to society management. We needed a specific automation tool which understood how society management works. If society tasks could be automated and tracked rigorously, it would make our jobs much easier while improving service levels for residents. We found apartmentadda to understand the society management needs. e.g. member communications, assets management, notices, circulars, maintenance tickets, payment reminders, vendor management, etc. etc. was all there. So all of us in Dosti Flamingos are going for it. My personal expectation is that a portal approach will give the committee more time to focus on improvement projects while streamlining most of manager's and accountant's tasks; which happen on excel or notebooks today. We will be able to track the dashboards of society management while communicating these better with the members. This will also move us towards a green philosophy where most of what we do is done electronically. e.g. we will only send electronic copies of your bills. And most of all, the managing committee members, who work on a honorary basis, will be able to enjoy better quality of life.
